The State of Israel is the only country worldwide which conscripts its women for military service. All soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are required to undergo training in Krav Maga, its official self-defense and hand-to-hand combat system. Because a potentially dangerous environment exists at all times in Israel, women soldiers, especially, must be equipped to handle hostile situations, such as physical attack, sexual assault, attempted kidnapping, etc. With limited time for specific training, Krav Maga has proven to be a highly effective, quickly learned and easy-to-retain self-defense system. Students in this seminar will train in strategic exercises for dealing with confrontations, psychological aspects of an attack/sexual assault, environmental awareness, and simulation exercises. This seminar is a lot of fun, as well as a terrific workout, and is a must for those who've said, "I've always wanted to learn how to defend myself and my loved ones."

Please wear comfortable long pants, short sleeved t shirt, sneakers, and no jewelry/watches. Shower/locker room facilities are available, and you can leave a gym bag on the side of the training area.
